Jessica Torres is an associate at Doner Law, PLC where she specializes in commercial litigation. She represents businesses in all types of commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract actions, and tort claims, including fraud, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference, business conspiracy, defamation and conversion.
Prior to joining Doner Law, PLC, Ms. Torres was an associate in the litigation practice group at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings, LLP and subsequently served as a litigation services staff attorney at Latham and Watkins, where her practice areas included intellectual property, information technology, judgment execution matters and complex commercial litigation. She also represented both corporate and high net worth individual clients in matters involving insurance coverage, business torts and commercial contracts. While in law school, Ms. Torres worked as an intern for the Honorable Ricardo Urbina, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, where she researched and authored legal memoranda concerning a wide range of issues.
Outside of work, Ms. Torres has a strong interest in supporting disadvantage youth and has been an avid supporter of SafeSpot, Fairfax County’s only child advocacy center that provides trauma therapy, counseling and support to sexually and physically abused children.
