John Gniadek is a partner at Doner Law, PLC where he specializes in employment law and commercial litigation. Mr. Gniadek’s practice includes representing employers before federal and state courts throughout the United States, with a focus on Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Mr. Gniadek counsels employers in all aspects of employment law, including employment contracts (such as non-competes, non-solicitation agreements, and confidentiality agreements), severance agreements, employee handbooks and other personnel policies, family and medical leave, disability accommodation, discrimination, wage-hour issues, and disciplinary and termination matters. He represents employers before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, state and local human rights agencies, and the U.S. Department of Labor. His practice also includes training management and staff on a variety of employment law issues, including anti-harassment, evaluation techniques, discipline, and the handling of accommodations and discrimination complaints.

Mr. Gniadek’s practice also includes representing businesses in all types of commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract actions, intellectual property disputes, and tort claims, including fraud, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference, business conspiracy, defamation and conversion.

Prior to joining Doner Law, PLC, Mr. Gniadek served as an attorney-advisor at the Office of Personnel Management and the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board, where his practice areas included all aspects of employment law in addition to ethics, intellectual property, and privacy. Mr. Gniadek also has prior experience representing plaintiffs in employment litigation as a senior associate at Tully Rinckey PLLC.
